About Community Pet Care 2

About Our Rescue Group...

Community Pet Care was established in 2015 by Danielle Giano and Linsey Griffin to help animals from Philadelphia, Southern NJ and surrounding areas find their forever homes.

Partnered with fellow animal lover and rescue expert Jessie Leighton , the groups mission is to rescue animals that have by no fault of their own, ended up in bad situations. Community Pet Care specializes in smaller, older dogs with manageable medical and behavioral needs, rehabilitate them, and place them in new adoptive homes.

In 2016 we founded Animal Welfare Society of NJ to expand our rescue efforts to include a sanctuary for feral cats, hospice care for animals with un-treatable health issues, and a community outreach program

Come Meet Our Pets...

Most of our pets are in foster care in various homes. We will make every effort to make a meet & greet for a pet you are interested in convenient for you.

Our Adoption Process...

Here is how we do it:

2. Tell us a little bit about yourself and what you are looking for in a pet.
3. Fill out an adoption application/Meet & Greet the pet.
4. Home Visit with the pet.
5. Adoption
6. Follow up to make sure you and your new pet are happy.
