Possum's Story...
Hi. My name is Possum. I am 12 weeks old and I weigh 13.2 pounds (5/9/17). I am a sweet and adorable little girl and I am looking for love. My caretakers are really kind, but I want a home to call my very own. For ever and ever. I'm hanging out in the Webster Animal Shelter in Madison, MS and I am in search of a great home in New England. I am really sweet and friendly and I just love the kids who come to the shelter to volunteer. They take me out for walks and all, but I really want a family to call my own. Do you think you could love me forever? Even though I live in Madison, MS. the good folks at Animal Rescue Front will bring me up north to you and the trip is included in the adoption fee. I hope to head north soon!
Possum is currently in Madison, Mississippi, and transportation to the New England area is provided by Animal Rescue Front and is included in the adoption fee If you're interested in taking me into your forever home, please fill out the adoption form here: http://animalrescuefront.org/forms/

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Possum, a South Dennis Border Collie puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Border Collie for sale in South Dennis, or seeking a Border Collie puppy from a breeder in South Dennis.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in South Dennis already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a South Dennis breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Border Collie breeders who help with Border Collie rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in South Dennis paves the way for another one to be saved.
