Hi, I'm Maddie. It's so nice to meet you! I am a 12 pound Shih Tzu. My mom wasn't able to take care of me any more for health reasons so she asked some nice people to find me a home where I can be treated like the princess I am. I'm pretty used to getting what I want, but I mostly just want snuggles, treats, playing and affection so that shouldn't be asking too much, right? I just turned 9 years old but you'd never know! I just had a dental and I didn't even lose any teeth. I do have allergies so I will need to be kept on my special diet and given medication daily. I have special shampoo for my almost daily baths to help keep my skin healthy. I should also mention that I LOVE FOOD and will try and charm you with my doggie eyes, so you have to make sure to keep my approved treats on hand! I do great around cats and dogs. I will need a dog savvy owner that can give me slow introductions and read my body as I can take a little time to warm up. A calm environment with older children is preferred. I was training to use a potty pad so I am used to frequent potty breaks, just about two hours is my limit. I also do great in the car and walk perfectly on leash. Once I get settled in I’ll let you rub my belly and I’ll love all the head and face scratches I can get with kisses in return. My feisty side will come out and I’ll be happy to do some light rough housing, but I’m more of a chill princess. I'm excited to meet you! My adoption fee is $100.
