Facts about Rachel

  • Breed: Domestic Shorthair
  • Color: Black & White Or Tuxedo
  • Age: Adult
  • Sex: Female
  • ID#: 17-116
  • Hair: Short
Rachel came to our shelter as an outside stray caught in a trap. Her ear was "docked" so we believe she was considered "feral" and trap/spay/release by a resident. She is not feral, is shy, but loves to be held and pet. With a quiet home and some TLC, she would make a great companion kitty.

Please consider giving this gentle girl a home. She will come around.....

About Woodhaven and Trenton Animal Shelter

About Our Shelter...

We are a municipal animal shelter funded by the cities of Woodhaven and Trenton, Michigan.

Our Adoption Process...

The adoption fees for all animals is $100. Prior to adopting an animal from us, you will be required to complete an adoption form. Completing the adoption application does not guarantee that you will be able to adopt that particular animal. Adoption approval is not based on first come, first served. The adoption is based on the best fit for the animal and the new adopter.

For all animals that are not altered at the time of adoption, a $50 deposit fee will be charged. The adopter will have 30 days to have the animal spayed or neutered. Once this is completed, the $50 deposit fee will be refunded.

Michigan State law requires all animals adopted from an animal shelter or rescue group to be spayed or neutered.
