Josh's Story...

Josh was rescued with his sister Maddie after being dumped in a rock quarry in Rolla and left to take care of each other.   Josh deserves a loving home with a nice yard to play in and a family who is going to love them unconditionally.  He is very sweet and calm, and needs to get out of boarding.  He have not been cat or kid tested but will be happy to have a place to call home and adjust to his new environment easily.  Please foster or foster to adopt Josh!   Maddie has already found her forever home, now it's time for Josh to find the family who will give him unconditional love!  He is up to date on all shots and neutered, please consider adopting Josh!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Josh, a St Louis Labrador Retriever/Beagle dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Beagle for sale in St Louis, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Beagle dog from a breeder in St Louis.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in St Louis already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a St Louis breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Beagle breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Beagle rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in St Louis paves the way for another one to be saved.
