Deja's Story...

Hi, my name is Deja. I'm three years old and I didn't get the best start - I was adopted as an 8 week puppy by some college kids who left me alone for long periods of time causing me to develop separation anxiety and aggression. They were going to euthanize me when my current owner saved the day and my life. He was there all the time and I became a loyal companion to him. We went on long walks and hikes and I started making better decisions. He made sure that I was spayed and up to date on all my shots and vet care. He also understood that I would need some professional training to find the best home situation, so I am currently going through that training at Doggie Do Good in Arroyo Grande. I'm doing really good and I love the trainers here. My lifetime training at this place will carry over to you so you will know how to best work with me.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Deja, a Arroyo Grande German Shepherd Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog for sale in Arroyo Grande, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog dog from a breeder in Arroyo Grande.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Arroyo Grande already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Arroyo Grande breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Arroyo Grande paves the way for another one to be saved.
