Facts about Molly & Marnie

  • Breed: Chihuahua/Miniature Pinscher Mix
  • Color: Black
  • Age: Young
  • Size: Small 25 lbs (11 kg) or less
  • Sex: Female
Molly, age 5 and Marnie, age 3, are a mother and daughter bonded pair of Chihuahua - Miniature Pinschers, and will only be adopted together. Molly was adopted from a rescue in Florida--- she was pregnant when found in the woods--and the original adopter adopted both Mom Molly and Marnie, one of her puppies. Unfortunately, their elderly adopter has been diagnosed with Parkinson's Disease and is presently unable to care for this young, charming pair, and we agreed to help her find a new home for them. According to the owners daughter: Both of these dogs are such great companions. They are both very very lovable and are lap dogs. They are a little heavy due to the fact that my mom can’t walk them anymore. She has a big backyard that she lets them out in. They are fine with other dogs. I think that they would be OK with a cat too but might bark at first. If I could have everything I would want for them, I would love for them to have a fenced yard and be the only dogs. The only thing that they do is bark when they see someone outside other than that they are very good. They are very attached to my mom. She has been sick ever since she got them so they watch over her like hawks. They don’t necessarily protect her they just watch her. I just am sick that we have to adopt them out. If you think you might be interested in possible adoption of these two charmers, please first complete and submit the application on the web site at www.silverlakeanimalrescue.org Adopters must live within one hour of Newtown Pa/Ewing NJ, as we do an in home visit as part of the adoption process. Fenced yard and experience with Miniature Pinscher breed preferred. Questions may be directed to animalesq@aol.com No telephone calls please
