Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Jenny is a two year old Boxer mix that weighs in around 50lbs. She is a super sweet, affectionate girl who will melt your heart with her deep soulful eyes and gentle personality.
Jenny has had a rough ride in life. She came to us from Texas, skin and bones after being locked in a cellar and found nearly starved to death. We sponsored her medical and when she was well enough we brought her here to find a home that will give her the unconditional love she deserves.
Sadly as a result of the effects of starvation and the toll it took on her body to heal Jenny has a slight thyroid issue that may require thyroid supplementation for life. She is currently on a 6 month course of treatment to see how her thyroid levels improve and we will then re-evaluate. The course of treatment is roughly $10/month.
Since she is still re-building her muscle and putting on much needed weight she will need a family that will help her slowly build her exercise levels and watch her carefully to make sure she slows down when she seems tired so she doesn't tax her system.
Jenny loves other dogs and would love a dog buddy to play with, a fenced yard, a grain free diet for life, kids over the age of 5 would be super but no cats.
Jenny is up to date on her shots, spayed and micro-chipped.
