Our rescue will be at the Palo Alto Pet Food Express Saturday, May 27th and Sunday, May 28th from 12pm-4pm. See individual dogs to see who will be attending as not all dogs will be attending the event. All of our dogs are spayed/neutered, shots current (DHPP, Bordetella and Rabies where applicable), dewormed, flea and tick treated and microchipped.

* If you are interested in a dog, please first read the biography on the dog (keep scrolling down for the bio!) and then go to our website, www.dpsrescue.com for an application. * We do not have a facility. All dogs live in foster homes. Arrangements to meet dogs occur after an approved application has been accepted. * We do not ship our dogs for any reason. * Our adoption fee is $400 for each dog/puppy. * If it is on a weekend of our adoptions, follow us on @DPSRescue on Twitter to get real time updates on our adoptions. We will also post at the end of the evening the names of those dogs who have been adopted: www.facebook.com/DPSRescue

This dog will be at Palo Alto Pet Food Express on Saturday, May 27th and May 28th from 12pm-4pm or until adopted. However, we do meet with those who submit an application and are approved just prior to the event (by invitation only) and they are given the first opportunity to adopt. If you are interested in one of our dogs, we recommend filling out an application prior to the event to be considered. Applications submitted within 24 hours of the event may not necessarily be reviewed.

The Sharks litter, 2 girls and 2 boys are Poodle-Terriers. There are 2 that have the fluffier coats and 2 that don't. We don't know that any of them are necessarily good for allergies. They may be nonshedding or at least less shedding. The two longer haired ones will require regular grooming. The two shorter ones will not!

The puppies are super social and friendly. They get along with everyone. They're friendly with all the visitors to their foster home. They are not loud puppies, thank heavens. You'd really never even know they were around. We expect that they will be in the 15lbs range when full grown. They are all socialized with dogs, cats and kids. Kids in the home need to be over the age of 6. We will only consider homes that have had a dog in the last 3 years.

Puppies are total lovers. At the end of the day they love nothing more than crawling up on their families and sleeping in their laps.

**Not all of our dogs go to each adoption event. We want to make sure if you are interested in a dog that we have the dog at adoptions but that can only happen if you fill out an application ahead of time and are pre-approved. (Generally this must happen prior to the weekend)

**If you are wanting to submit an application within 24 hours of an event, please print off the application and bring with you as well as submitting it. You may still submit it and if time and volunteers permit, we will contact you. Most applications submitted the weekend of adoptions are not responded to until after the adoption weekend.

About Doggie Protective Services (DPS) - Palo Alto

About Our Rescue Group...

We are passionate folks who love dogs and love people! We strive to make the most appropriate match between human and canine. Because our dogs live in foster homes we know about their temperament and personality and therefore can help families and individuals decide if the dog is a good match or not. We are excited to help people find the right pooch for them and look forward to meeting great folks and welcoming them into the DPS Family.

Our Adoption Process...

We carefully screen potential adoptors through an application and interview process. We are a community-based group and invite you to check out our website at www.dpsrescue.com or our very active Facebook page at http://www.facebook.com/DPSRescue and keep in touch with real-time adoptions at www.twitter.com/dpsrescue
