Mini's Story...
Poor sweet Mini has had a rough first year of her life, first, she was dumped at the shelter by her owner's , only to celebrate her first birthday in a shelter all alone, then the poor girl gets a kennel cough. Things look better for her when The Lost Dog Search & Rescue go get her from the shelter for a family looking for another family pet, but then only a day in her new home she becomes lethargic and not eating, so we rush her to Redbank Veterinary hospital. Sweet Mini has pneumonia and had to be hospitalised for several days. The rescue took her home with us to nurse her back to health and continue her medications. She has improved greatly in the last few days and that happy 1year old puppy is acting like one should. Sadly though the family that originally wanted her now feel she is not the right fit for their family, so once again poor Mini is in need of a loving home she so deserves. See Mini in action:

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Mini, a Toms River Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium)/Collie dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium)/Collie for sale in Toms River, or seeking a Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium)/Collie dog from a breeder in Toms River.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Toms River already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Toms River breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium)/Collie breeders who help with Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium)/Collie rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Toms River paves the way for another one to be saved.
