From the Foster:
Kent is the sweetest boy who loves to play. He enjoys playing with K-9 friends, head scratches and exploring the outdoors!
He is house-broken and rarely has accidents. He knows how to sit, and we are currently working on some new tricks such as look, down and leave it. He is intelligent and aims to please.
Kent finds cats very intriguing and will chase. We have a hard time redirecting him when he sees a cat and think he would do better in a house without cats. He currently has not had any experience with children. He would likely do best with older, respectful children as could knock down a small child when excited. His is a strong, handsome guy after all!
Kent is a very happy dog with lots of energy. He is always very happy to see you and may great try to greet you by jumping up. He will likely need some additional guidance on saying “hello”.
Kent is kennel trained and very rarely whines or barks when he is kenneled. He also does a great job with only chewing or playing with dog toys.
He still pulls when we walk him on a leash, so this will need some more work. The more walks we bring him on, the more improvement we see.
Kent is a snuggle bug! Towards the end of the night and in the mornings, he enjoys snuggling in bed or on the couch. He enjoys belly rubs and head scratches while he is relaxing.
While we haven’t had Kent very long, we believe he will be a great addition to someone’s home and family.
