TEDDY RUXPIN (VIRGINIA)
Teddy Ruxpin is an 8-year-old, 10 lb Yorkie-Poo (Yorkie-Poodle Mix) who is being fostered in Fairfax, VA.
Teddy needs all UYR fans and followers to share his story far and wide so he can find his FUREVER!
Since his last update Teddy Ruxpin made a trip to the Doggie Dentist. He had never had his teeth cleaned so he went in with a mouth-full and came out minus 23. Yes, that is correct, he had to have 23 teeth pulled due to severe dental decay. Lucky for Teddy Ruxpin he is equally adorable and able to dine whether he has 3 teeth or 300 teeth but he will need to have his kibble moistened with a bit of warm water in the future. The best news is that he feels 1000% better now that all that nasty infection has been removed from his mouth. He is infinitely kissable now too as his breath is now as fresh as the summer breeze! His foster Mom no longer has to hold her breath while getting serial kisses from sweet TR which is a WIN-WIN situation for SURE!
Teddy has no other health issues except his thyroid levels are a wee bit low which is very common in Yorkies especially those who past their puppy years. He takes a very inexpensive medication for that twice a day and there is no problem giving it to him. EEEZY PEEZY!
As you can see Teddy Ruxipin is just OVER THE MOON adorable! Besides being the cutest guy around he has a long list of highly desirable doggie qualities:
He’s gentle as can be, he’s super loving. He is……..(WAIT FOR IT!)……HOUSE TRAINED! He loves other dogs, older children and just about every living thing he meets. He is super happy all the time and loves to go for walks and have long periods of snuggle time.
Teddy Ruxpin’s perfect home would be one with humans that are home enough to give him the time and attention he deserves. He does not like to be left alone and really dislikes being crated. Teddy is looking for that special someone(s) who won't leave him longer than 4-6 hours a day and won't crate him. He has free reign at his FM's home and prefers it that way. Another playful dog would be a bonus. Teddy is active and loves to go for walks so a fenced yard would be PAWSOME! Word of caution: Teddy sees a door and likes to bolt through it so whoever adopts him should be SUPER CAREFUL that he doesn’t escape. If you think you are Teddy Ruxpin’s perfect match then apply to adopt him today or email his foster mom for additional details at jennrez@gmail.com
