âIf there ever was a dog to steal your heart, this little girl would be the one to do it. Eleanor is our 5.5 month old, 20 pound, Shetland Sheepdog Sheltie/Aussie mix girl who just won't let you resist her adorable flecked paws and sweet brown eyes. Eleanor came to us in bad shape, with a shattered pelvis about a month ago. Thanks to all our wonderful supporters and donors, she's all fixed up and ready for that special family to help her continue her recovery! Eleanor is great with other dogs, and absolutely loves to play! She also does very well just playing on her own, and adores her chew toys. Eleanor is also good with cats too, and politely sniffs and plays gently with them, if they so desire. She is already crate and house trained, and loves to cuddle up with you in your arms in the evenings. Eleanor is searching for someone for her forever, someone that is just as special as she is. If you think you would be able to provide all the best of love and affection the world has to offer to this precious pooch, apply to adopt her today! She will be ready for her new home after May 22nd!

Prior to adoption, all canines and felines are spayed or neutered, have received their age appropriate vaccinations, have been de-wormed for common parasites, and have received treatment for prevention of fleas and ticks. All canines over the age of 6 months have been tested for heartworm. All canines are put on heartworm prevention as soon as possible - this means dogs as soon as they are tested negative. Puppies are put on prevention immediately. All felines, regardless of age, have been tested for feline leukemia and FIV. Each animal receives a health check by a licensed veterinarian prior to adoption. Anything else found will be treated by our organization prior to adoption.
