Peanut is a sweet and gentle chihuahua/dachshund girl, 4 and a half years old and 11 lbs. She is mostly brown, with white on her legs and chest, and a little bit of black. She was adopted from us 3 years ago but was returned recently because of a dislocated disk which sometimes gives her trouble walking. The family couldn't deal with it financially. We've had experience with this kind of problem and will make sure she gets back into good shape. Update- She's been improving quickly and hardly has any trouble walking now. She also has seizures, which she takes medicine for to keep under control.
Despite her disability, she is very friendly, happy, and loving. She is a quiet little lap dog who will kiss and snuggle anytime. Likes to sleep under the covers and enjoys being held. Gets along great with other dog and is good with kids. She'd do best in a home that has at least one other little dog for a companion- she cheers up when her pals are around. Does well in a car. Well behaved. One thing, though- she *hates* having her nails trimmed!
Leash trained, house trained, crate trained.
First pics are recent, last three pics are from when she was here before at 1 year old.
