Ray is a sweet 16lb 1yo Havanese/poodle mix who was born blind, but loves his life! He is great with other dogs and is good with cats, but doesn’t understand that cats and some dogs don’t always like to play. Ray is crate trained and he rides nicely in the car. He likes to play with toys and he even plays fetch. Because of Ray's special needs, he ideally needs a house with a yard and another confident dog to help guide him. (Apartment living would be tough for him as far as potty training and leash walks) He gets disoriented and confused when his environment is changing regularly and leash walks are a bit tough for him (he runs into everything). He has his foster home fully mapped out and it helps his confidence when he knows exactly where he is and how many steps it takes to get to wherever. Ray can be afraid of new people so his foster is working on that. He loves to run around with, play with, and follow the other two dogs and cat in his foster home, and looks to them for guidance. We are looking for a home situation similar to his foster home, as Ray really thrives in such an environment! Ray likes to be near his humans and he would love to keep you company while you work around the house!
