Meet Bobby!
Bobby is only 5 lbs. A very tiny boy who found himself in a local kill shelter as a stray dog. He was covered by matted hair and looked like a mop at the time. Now he got groomed and looks very cute (and tinier!). When he was rescued, he was very under weight. He is gaining nicely . He is good with other dogs in small/medium size (he is little scared of large dogs). We don't really know if he is good with cats... but maybe he is okay. We don't see him chasing a cat when he has a walk. He is very affectionate and super friendly. His foster is working on his potty training and he is in progress. His right eye is cross-eyed (the left side is normal). According to our private vet, he was born like this way and nothing is wrong with his vision. Because he loves to be around people, he can't stay home by himself all day. He prefers to have his forever family who can be around him all the time. If you are interested in Bobby, please go to our website: www.dogzhaus.org and fill out the adoption application. Once we receive your application, we will contact you and schedule a meet and greet.

About DOGzHAUS Rescue

About Our Rescue Group...

DOGzHAUS (pronounced as DOG HOUSE) is a small, Los Angeles based CA registered non profit dog rescue organization that was formed to give a second chance to the shelter dogs. We are a 501(c)(3) rescur group and your donations are tax deductible.100% of your donations benefit our rescue dogs. The organization is run by volunteers and funded entirely by donations and adoption fees.

All our dogs are spayed or neutered, up-to-date on their shots and micro chipped before being adopted. While at the rescue, medical care is provided for each dog based on their individual needs. We can't guarantee the future health of the dog, and adopters are encouraged to take the dog to their own veterinarian for a thorough exam.

Our Goal:
*Rescuing dogs from life threatening situations at animal shelters and elsewhere.
*Finding their permanent loving homes with qualified owners.
*Assisting owners of dogs who can no longer keep them to find them new homes.
*Educating the public about the advantages of adopting dogs from shelters and rescue organizations, and about the need for spaying and neutering dogs.
*Educating dog owners and prospective owners with dogs about their proper care and training, and about other aspects of each breed.

Our Adoption Process...

If you are interested in adopting one of our dogs, please contact us for the adoption application form. All dogs adopted through us are spayed or neutered, current on their vaccines and microchipped. Because the minimum adoption donation rarely covers the costs associated with each dog, we ask our adopters to help us spread the word about the important work that we do. Our adoption donation minimum is $250 for adult medium to large dogs, $200 for small adult dogs, $275 for puppies 1 year and under (any size) and $180 seniors 8 years and older.
