Chloe is a silky terrier and miniature poodle mix. She will be 7 years old on July 4th. I have had Chloe since she was weeks old and still drinking milk. She could fit in my palm. Now she weighs a little over 15 pounds. Chloe needs to be put in a home with zero children. She cannot be trusted around children and has a bite history. She is very protective around her owner. When owner is not around she is much more docile. She is around strangers, vet, groomers with no problems. She is very loving and sweet, however not with kids ...

Chloe has been around cats and dogs. She likes dogs that are smaller than her. With time, she grows used to animals, however at first she requires extra attention. Honestly, she would fit in a home with no other animals and no children. She likes to be the only child, very spoiled. Like many small dogs, she is very protective of her owner. When away from her owner, she is fine. She would probably attach to another owner just the same.

Chloe loves to swim, go on walks, and play with toys. She is house trained and crate trained. She has never gotten in trouble chewing on things (except owner's clothing items). Just needs patience but feel she would be a great dog to another owner. She has rabies vaccination from 2016. In 2016 July she got hit by a car and her back leg was broken in many places. She had a cast on for weeks and healed nicely. She doesn't limp and uses her leg just fine. No pain or problems. In 2016 October Chloe was taken from our home. In 2017 January, after 3 months of not knowing where Chloe was, I received a call saying a stranger found her. After three months gone (we have no idea what happened to her) she was found in good condition (a tad overweight) but she's been doing so well. I am heartbroken to have to find a new home, however we are planning for a new baby, and as stated, she cannot be around kids. It's not fair to leave her in the garage or outside or in a crate.
