Giselle's Story...
Meet Giselle. We are not sure exactly what our sweet girl is. Maybe some Lab with a little of this or a little of that thrown in, but what we do know is that she is a beautiful mix of something. She's about a year old. Giselle is a lover of all people and she seems to do fine with dogs. We haven't seen her dislike anyone, although as you can tell, she is not a camera hog by any stretch! She is as playful as a puppy and loves spending time outside in the sunshine when the temperature feels good. She has been nothing but happy since the day she was rescued, just thrilled to get fed and taken outside everyday, and she absolutely loves the attention she gets. Giselle would be a great companion pup and would be equally as good in an active family with children. We really think our girl would be great in any loving home. She would definitely need a fenced in yard, as we know she has rambling in her past and we sure don't want that to happen again.

Breed identification by visual means is unreliable for most dogs. We are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. Each dog at CARA is an individual and we do our best to describe each animal based on personality, not by breed label.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Giselle, a Jackson Labrador Retriever/Hound (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Hound (Unknown Type) for sale in Jackson, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Hound (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in Jackson.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Jackson already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Jackson breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Hound (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Hound (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Jackson paves the way for another one to be saved.
