Mystery's Story...

Mystery has raised her 5 babies all while begging to be treated like a baby herself from her foster mom. It's time for her little ones to fly the coop and she is ready for her forever home too!! Mystery was rescued from behind a synagogue on the very day she gave birth to her five kittens back in March. She is a purr-machine and loves to be petted and scratched.  Perhaps you would want to adopt Mystery along with one of her kittens as well?!  Mystery is healthy, up to date on shots, tested negative for FIV/FeLV and is ready to be yours!  please come meet her and her 5 adorable children at our adoption event Saturday at Petco at 92nd & Broadway from 2-6!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Mystery, a New York Russian Blue cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Russian Blue for sale in New York, or seeking a Russian Blue cat from a breeder in New York.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in New York already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a New York breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Russian Blue breeders who help with Russian Blue rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in New York paves the way for another one to be saved.
