Xena's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with dogs.

Xena's Story...
Xena, Warrior Princess...of our hearts! Despite her bombastic name, Xena is a gentle, tolerant, somewhat shy girl who's looking to join a loving family. She's a three year old American Bulldog who has the best smushy face around! Xena was owned by the same family her entire life, but sadly they didn't have extra time to spend with her, so Xena was alone most of her days. Xena loves people of all ages and sizes - she'd be a great addition to a family with kids. She's super tolerant - it's hard to annoy Xena. She'll do well with kids of all ages, other low-key dogs, and a family that is around a lot. Xena loves people and she deserves to be part of a family - going for walks, laying on the couch, and playing together should all be parts of Xena's future life! She's housetrained and well-behaved with everyone. Come meet her today!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Xena, a Oak Park American Bulldog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Bulldog for sale in Oak Park, or seeking a American Bulldog dog from a breeder in Oak Park.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Oak Park already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Oak Park breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Bulldog breeders who help with American Bulldog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Oak Park paves the way for another one to be saved.
