Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Move-in Ready Daisy!
Meet Daisy, a vibrant, 8 year old, Red Beagle girl who is in search of her forever home!
Daisy is 8 years old, approximately 30 lbs., with a happy and friendly personality. Daisy is housetrained, crate trained, good with dogs and cats. When I say Daisy is move-in ready, that’s exactly what I mean. She’s looking for a home to call her own.
Daisy’s forever home wishes include:
A family!
A fenced yard or not.
A medium crate or not.
If possible, another dog would be nice for companion.
So as you look at pictures of Daisy, you may notice that Daisy is blind. Daisy became blind in July, 2017 due to cataracts, but she does fine getting around. Daisy has another medical issue which I hope won’t sway your decision to consider adopting Daisy. Daisy is a diabetic. Daisy came to us as a diabetic and once regulated on insulin, she’s done very well. She has been seen by our vet to check her insulin levels and there have been no change in her insulin dosage. Daisy gets her insulin injection with each meal, twice a day. The injection is super easy to give and as long as she’s eating, I don’t think she even realizes she’s getting it.
If you’re looking for a senior Beagle who has all the wonderful personality traits a Beagle can offer, I hope you’ll consider Daisy. She’s an awesome dog, acts just like any other Beagle and would make a wonderful addition to any family.
NOTE: Dog may be located in any of our six volunteer states (WI, IL, IN, OH, PA, MI).
