My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

I am hoping that when you look deep into these dreamy eyes of mine, you’ll see beyond my 11 years! Don’t give up on me because I haven’t. I need you. I won’t ask for very much - just your time and attention. My name is Mo and I spent my life as a breeding dog and at this point I am ready to move on to my first real home – no strings attached I have now been sterilized and went through surgery like a trooper! The Doc discovered that I had a 3 or 4 out of 6 heart murmur but hey you can’t keep a Sheltie down. I’d simply love a home where I could get a few shorts walks every day and if you have a yard with some soft grass where I could catch some rays, that would be nice. True to my Sheltie genes, I do like the sound of my own voice so no apartment or condo living for me. I am friendly and interested in interacting with my human; I love to cuddle and get lots of attention…is there ever enough of that? Snuggling up in front of the fire, or next to you on the couch—now that sounds pretty nice. I might even enjoy the gentle attention that respectful children 12+ have to offer. I am good with other dogs and would find comfort in having another furry friend around. I know that you might be reluctant to adopt me because of my age since you know that your time with me will be shorter. Look at it as a privilege that you will be able to make everyone of my days special. Show me that the world can be a wonderful, loving place. If you would like to make a real difference in a senior dog’s life, please consider adopting me. Fill in the Adoption Form and let’s make it happen.
