Buddy's Story...
If you would like a calm, gentle companion who is good with kids, come meet our Buddy! He is a 2 year old, 65 pound shepherd mix who was rescued as a puppy and raised in a shelter situation. He has a submissive personality and is quiet and mellow. Buddy is wonderful with the 3 and 5 year old grand kids and when they show up he comes over to them for attention and petting. He would be content to hang out with someone who wants a buddy nearby. Buddy is good with cats and dogs too. He leaves the cats alone and plays some with the other dogs as his energy level is low to moderate. He doesn't even get up on the furniture and sleeps in his dog bed on the floor. Buddy is house trained and crate trained and enjoys going for walks. Buddy's $200 adoption fee through his 501c3 non profit rescue covers his neuter, shots, heartworm test and pill, Frontline and HomeAgain microchip.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Buddy, a Osseo Shepherd (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shepherd (Unknown Type) for sale in Osseo, or seeking a Shepherd (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in Osseo.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Osseo already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Osseo breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shepherd (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Shepherd (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Osseo paves the way for another one to be saved.
