AN ACTIVE & SWEET FELLOW:  4 years old / Currently 41 lbs. and needs to gain weight  Mostly Mutts adoption facility is open Mon-Sat. 11-4pm. Some of us are in foster homes so please call 770-272-6888 1st to find out if I’m available to meet during the week. I came to MM’s quite underweight, but I’m eating 3 meals a day for now to help me get to a healthy weight. My liver enzymes were elevated so the vet wants to recheck me in a several weeks. This maybe nothing or I may need medicine to support my liver. MM can give you more detailed information about this! I’m an active fellow who would love a family that will be active with me. I’m affectionate, come when I’m called, love to be petted and thrive on affection and attention!  I’m a major snuggler and would be very happy to sleep in your bed—I just LOVE people! I can be a little unsure of new things, so just confidently show me that everything is good and that will help me along. I've been good with all the dogs I've met while at the Mostly Mutts shelter and with my foster family, so if you have a dog in your home, maybe we can meet and become friends! I’ve had very good potty manners in my foster home while kept on a schedule so hopefully that will translate to potty trained in your home as well. I love people a lot and can be a little barky when I’m separated, so I don’t think an apartment/condo type home would be a good fit for me.  I would do best in a home where someone is around during the day and/or there is another dog to keep me company. I’m playful and love sniffing things as is typical of my breed.  I do get excited and jump a bit, so I could use some training on that as well as leash training. Fetch is fun for me and I’ll give you the toy or ball back so you can throw it again. I have some built up energy these days, but a home where I’ll get regular exercise and activity should help me settle down just fine and I’m already showing signs of this in my foster home. Since I love walks and car rides, I should be easy to find lots of fun things to do together. I look forward to meeting you soon!  Older kids, as I’m active and a bit jumpy. Energy level: 5-7.  I'm current on vaccinations, micro-chipped, neutered and my adoption fee is $275.00.

About Mostly Mutts Animal Rescue & Adoption

About Our Rescue Group...

Who We Are:

Mostly Mutts is a 501(c)3, non-profit organization, staffed almost entirely by volunteers!
Our Mission is to help the Unwanted, Abandoned, Abused and Sick animals in our local counties. We fulfill this mission by working closely with County Animal Control Facilities, saving those who are in imminent danger of euthanasia, or those with needs which require specialized vet care that many other groups will not consider: major orthopedic issues, heartworm positive treatment, skin conditions, neglect and abuse

Please visit our website, www.mostlymutts.org for additional information about adopting a new best friend!
