Marty is an absolutely adorable guy!

He is a basenji/Jack Russell mix, about 3 years old, who absolutely loves to play - almost as much as he loves to cuddle.

Marty needs to be an only dog, but he is just fine with cats! He will do best in a home with children 13 years old or older.

He absolutely loves people, and a home where someone is home a good deal of the time would be ideal for Marty.

Marty has lived in a home since he was a puppy. He is a well mannered dog who is house trained and knows his basic commands.

He is also an energetic guy, and would love a family who would take him on long walks, hikes, and other adventures.

To apply to adopt Marty, please fill out an application at our website: https://www.furryfriendsct.org/

About Furry Friends Foster and Rescue Inc

About Our Rescue Group...

We are an animal rescue working to save animals from bad situations, care for any medical or behavioral needs, and place them in wonderful forever homes. Dogs in our rescue mainly come from municipal pounds within CT. We also take owner surrenders and occasionally will take dogs from outside of CT, if we have room in the rescue and the dog's or cat's situation is urgent.

We are approved as a 501c3 public charity by the Internal Revenue Service, are a tax exempt public charity with the State of CT, and hold an active CT animal import license.

Our Adoption Process...

Anyone wanting to adopt one of our animals must first fill out an application. We check personal, vet, and landlord references (if applicable). If the application is approved we will schedule a home visit by one of our volunteers. Once you are fully approved to adopt, we will schedule a meet and greet with the dog in our rescue, and all family members and other pets. If everyone agrees, you will be able to adopt.
