Meet Fitzwilliam! This sweet boy came to us from Cleveland with his mother and siblings. They were living outside with a colony of cats, and the property owner surrendered them to get them the care they needed. Fitzwilliam was only a few days old when he came into the rescue.  He is an adventurous little guy who likes to climb on everything and play. He likes to have fun and to explore. Fitzwilliam does not mind dogs and is fine with children. He is starting to use the litterbox and is currently eating wet cat food in addition to being weaned from nursing. To adopt Fitzwilliam, we require you have any previous or current pets spayed/neutered and up-to-date on vaccinations and heartworm prevention. Fitzwilliam's adoption fee is $150 to cover the cost of his care and vetting, along with his mother's, while in rescue. Fitzwilliam's vetting includes his neuter surgery, microchip, FIV/FeLV test, FVRCP vaccination, Strongid dewormer, a nail trim, and monthly Revolution for flea/tick/heartworm prevention. Fitzwilliam's adopters will be responsible for his Rabies vaccination when she reaches 12-weeks-old. Please email us at if you are interested in providing Fitzwilliam with his purr-fect forever home. Thank you!

He will be ready for adoption the first week of June. Thank you!

Our Adoption Process...

If you are interested in adopting one of our rescued pets, please email us at All potential adopters must fill out an adoption application. Once your application is completed, please be patient. The application is processed by one of our volunteers who will email you back within a day to confirm that we received your application. The volunteer will then check with your veterinarian to make sure that all of your pets are/were up-to-date on their vaccines, spayed/neutered, and on heartworm prevention. The volunteer will call you to talk with you more about the pet that you are interested in adopting, and to make sure that you are a good fit. After everything checks out, we can set up a meet and greet with the dog or cat you are interested in adopting. Please only apply to adopt one of our rescued pets if you are willing and able to make a lifetime commitment to a pet. We give the highest quality of care to all of our fosters, and we have adoption requirements in place to make sure that all of our dogs and cats go to loving homes. We work very closely to match you with the right new family member. All dogs and cats are spayed/neutered prior to adoption. Adoption fees are non-refundable. We require that you are at least 21-years-old and that you live in Ohio, Pennsylvania, or Michigan to adopt one of our rescued pets. Please feel free to contact us if you have any questions or concerns.
