My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Please do not click the "ask about me" button. Information about this pet is below including information on what to do to meet her. If you are seeing the posting, this pup is looking for a home so there is no need to email asking if available. Instructions on how to meet this pup are provided below.

Meet super sweet Godiva. Godiva is a beautiful puppy with an excellent temperament. She was born around 12/31/2016. Based on her age and weight we feel she will be a medium size dog as an adult. She's a super sweet pup who loves to cuddle. Pictures do not do her beauty justice. She is pretty mellow as far as pups go. She is very eager to please. Goes in her crate at night and sometimes during the day to sleep. Loves loves her dog food. Doing well at potty training, but her new family will need to continue to work on house training with her. She's good on leash but likes to catch birds and squirrels. Because she is still a puppy, a home where someone isn't gone for more then 6 hours is needed. I quick break at lunch time in a full 8 hour day isn't enough out of crate time for a young dog.

She is great with children but hasn't been around young children. We feel she would do really well with young respectful kids who are use to dogs. She loves to give kisses and will make a fabulous family pet. She is fabulous with other dogs and absolutely loves playing with them, but we don't know about kitties as the foster doesn't have any felines. Godiva is being fostered in a home in Lisle, Illinois, which is where you would go to meet her after an application has been submitted. Godiva was pulled from animal control in Kentucky where she was found as a stray.

If you're interested in meeting this sweet pup, please go to our website at angelsonwheels.org, click on the applications tab, and complete the on-line adoption application. For additional information about our adoption process, please go to our website at angelsonwheels.org and click on the adoptable tab.

Submitting an application does not commit you to any animal, but is required prior to making arrangements for a meet and greet as all of our animals are cared for in homes. We can't schedule meet and greets until the application is submitted and approved. We don't have a building so there are no viewing hours. All of our animals are cared for in foster homes by wonderful families who volunteer their time to save these precious souls. Thank you for your patience and understanding.

The adoption fee of $350.00 includes:
Spaying which is now done

You will also receive a free health exam visit to either Crest Hill Cat and Dog Clinic, Yorkville Animal Hospital, Midwest Animal Hospital in Orland Park, Knoll Animal Hospital of Carol Stream, Countryside Animal Hospital, PC, Springbrook Animal Hospital, or Naperville Animal Hospital.

Although we make the best guess on the breed and size of our dogs, because they come from shelters or are strays, we can never be completely certain of the genetic makeup of the dog. Breed and weight at maturity are only guesses. All we can tell you for sure is that they are 100% RESCUED! If an animal is still posted for adoption, he/she is still available. If you see this this post, this puppy is available for adoption so there is no need to email asking about availability.

Thank you for looking at our rescued animals!
