My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi my name is Jackson (for some reason my foster mom calls me Action Jackson - don't know why since I'm a laid back kinda guy!) I think I'm 10 or so, not sure since I was a stray! I love curling up in a nice bed or blanket or lap! I was skinny as a rail but am putting weight on now and looking good although still waiting for the hair to grow back from abdominal surgery (I was so hungry I ate some gravel - opps won't do that again!) I'm neutered, UTD on my shots and am on heartworm and flea/tick medicine. I do get a little anxious in new situations but am always a nice guy! When I got to the shelter, I had a lot of bad teeth so had to have all pulled but 3 so I get soft food which is great - much less work to eat LOL! I'm also mostly deaf! I hear loud noises and whistles but I'm always around my foster mom so it's not a big problem. I've been around a 10 yo and 13 yo kid but not younger so not sure about them. My foster brother and sister chase squirrels, cats, etc but I'm pretty much live and let live! I like walks and am good on my leash. I'm looking for a family of my own - is that you??
