Facts about Chip

  • Breed: Boston Terrier/Miniature Pinscher Mix
  • Color: Black - With White
  • Age: Young
  • Size: Small 25 lbs (11 kg) or less
  • Sex: Male
He is a 7lb, 1yr old male. We think he is maybe Boston Terrier/Chihuahua/Min Pin mix. He is the sweetest, kindest, most loving, gentle pup ever! He loves kids, cats, dogs, he is just a happy guy! His favorite thing is to just chill with someone he loves! And dance a cute little "Jig"!!
He had a real rough start in life. He was dumped on the streets to fend for himself when he was a few months old. He was picked up by Downey AC and spent quite some time sick in the shelter before K9 Kismet came to his rescue! Chip has been diagnosed with IBD which causes him to be underweight, and sometimes have a sick tummy. We have been working with a holistic vet and there has been a great improvement, with his IBD under control just by changing his diet and taking him off unnecessary meds.Chip is looking for a forever home where he can find his own person/family to spent his happily ever after with!

About K9 Kismet Dog Rescue

About Our Rescue Group...

K9 Kismet was founded to provide a resource for families of 4-legged (or 3-legged... we love our tripods) furries to be able to stay together in times of financial hardship by offering assistance with food, medical, and housing relocation services.

Our secondary mission is to rescue shelter animals and find them forever home.

Come Meet Our Pets...

Our pets are residents of their foster family homes and are available for meet and greets by appointment. We are currently too small to hold adoption events, but may be invited to participate in events hosted by other rescues. Stay tuned to our website and Facebook page for event announcements.

Our Adoption Process...

All adopters must be willing to complete an adoption application and home check prior to placement of the animal. All members of the household are required to meet the pet prior to adoption. If other animals are in the home, a meet and greet among the animals is also required. We offer foster-to-adopt options if additional time is needed.

Adoption fees vary on animal and medical status, but in general are:

$250 - young and adult dogs*
$250 - seniors*
$150 - young and adult cats*
$100 - senior cats*

$500 ($200 refundable upon completion of puppy training class)* for puppies or kittens who have not yet received all vaccinations prior to entering our rescue - getting them ready to enter mainstream society is expensive!

*Prices listed above are maximum prices. If our costs to care for the animal are less than the amounts listed above, K9 Kismet will offer a discount.

All animals are vaccinated, spayed/neutered and microchipped prior to adoption.
