At Wags and Whisker's Pet Rescue:
Adobe is a young pit mix who needs a forever home. He had demodectic mange but has received treatment and is growing his hair back. D emodectic mange is not contagious to other animals or humans. Demodex mites are transmitted to puppies from their mother during the first few days of life. Since the mite is found on virtually all dogs, exposure of a normal dog to one with demodectic mange is not dangerous.
He is a big love bug and enjoys going on walks and playing with his dog friends. He has lived at a home that had chickens and would occasionally chase for fun but never caught one. He loves people, including children. He is easy going on car rides and will usually just sleep most of the ride.
He is young and still needs training, however, he is very willing to please and should be easily trainable. He is crate trained and walks well on leash.
For an appointment to see him please contact the number below or come to one of our Saturday adoption events from Noon to 4 pm.
