Louie is a real Buffon’s Macaw, Military Macaw. Louie is a very special boy; he is a very sweet and healthy 10-year-old boy. Louie’s weight is currently over 1490 grams, so he is a Real Big Buffon’s Macaw and we will not place him with anyone who desires to breed. Louie is very tame and smart, he has been seen by a vet every 6 months since 2008. Louie has been well cared for these last 10 years by a wonderful lady who spoiled him, and loved him dearly.
Louie likes men and women and were seeking an experienced macaw handler, who currently has a docile macaw, so Louie can feel at home.
*We can only place Louie with an experienced macaw handler. Louie is very sweet, and a bit of a Hamm. Louie, so he will not do well in a home by himself as the only macaw. So, if you don’t currently have macaws, please continue to search for another 2nd chance macaw to adopt. His cage must be placed with him. He loves his cage.
Home visits are mandatory, so delivery is available in most local areas of Washington and Oregon State.
