Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Whisper is an adorable gray tabby female estimated to be about 2 years old. Judging by her cute little ears, she appears to be of the Scottish Fold variety. Though a bit tentative until she sizes you up, she is generally a well socialized, friendly girl that loves attention after just a few minutes of getting to know you. Just rub her head and neck for a few minutes and she'll be your best friend.
Whisper was in a foster home before arrival at Adopt-A-Pet and her records came with a note that said she is not good with other cats but is okay with dogs. However, we have since learned that her prior foster home was EXTREMELY overloaded with cats and so we are not sure that this determination is accurate or fairly assessed. In a 'normal' home with just another cat or two, she may (and probably will) do just fine. Whisper is new to Adopt-A-Pet, so we will be doing our own assessment of her after a brief settling-in period. Stay tuned for updates.
You can meet Whisper at her current foster home, Wilmette Pet Center, 625 Green Bay Rd., during normal store hours 7 days a week.
Her adoption fee of $150 includes: vet exam, FelineLeukemia/FIV test, FVRCP (distemper combo) vaccination, rabies vaccination, flea control, routine deworming, microchip and spay.
