My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Sweet, loving Joey, then a kitten, was found wandering the streets of South Philadelphia, PA looking for a loving person to rescue him and care for him. Poor kitten  - he had a small wound on his tail that needed medical treatment. And he was so hungry!!

Luckily, Joey found his wonderful foster mom who picked him right up and took him home. She got him immediate veterinary care and gave him a lot of love and fed him well. But she’s not in a position to keep him indefinitely, so Joey needs a loving, FOREVER home.

Joey is amazing – the greatest personality -- affectionate, playful, goofy, well behaved, and guaranteed to put a smile on your face each morning. He's so handsome - a beautiful pale orange color. He’s grateful for being rescued - every day.

Joey is still young – about 8-10 months.  He’s received his vaccinations, been neutered, preventatively treated for fleas and worms, and screened negative for Feleuk/FIV. His tail wound has healed nicely. He still has some very mild skin allergies so he's on a special diet. That's why we called him a special needs cat.

If you’re interested in adopting Joey, contact adoptmekitten@aol.com or call 610-506-9270 - leave a message with your name, phone number, email address . An adoption application process is required.
