I originally adopted Taz from a friend many years ago in NYC. I moved to WA State abut 5 years ago, and am looking to move again and cannot just take the cat any further with me. He loves to play, and I am never home to give him the attention he needs.
He has IBS so I feed him prescription food (its about the same price as regular cat food).
He doesn't really like other cats, but his exposure was limited. Taz is definitely more of a panther than he is a cat, as although he is domesticated, he has a personality of his own. He's a hunter for sure.
His coat is fantastic, and he has preventative care insurance through Banfield, is up to date with everything, and is also neutered.
His nails get long and RAZOR sharp, so I have them trimmed 3-5 times a year ($11). He will not let you cut his nails, unless you are a cat whisperer.
Taz isn't moody but he isn't the most well-behaved. I would say he has behavioral traits that only a previous/current cat owner would be able to put up with.
