Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Alice is a very gentle and sweet, blind ten-year-old, 42-pound, female fawn pit bull terrier looking for a loving guardian.
Alice was found tied to a fence in August of 2016 on the West Side of Chicago by a police officer. She was rescued by Famous Fido Rescue.
Alice is just about blind but the vet says she can probably see some shadows and images. She also has mammary tumors which will need to be addressed in the near future.
If you are interested in meeting and possibly adopting her, please fill in the online application at http://famousfidorescue.com/rescueforms/machform/view.php?id=26727 and follow up by contacting Gloria at fido@famousfidorescue.com or 773-907-0305.
Alice is at the Famous Fido Rescue, 3124 W. Irving Park Road at Troy Street in Chicago, Illinois 60618. Her adoption fee of $250 benefits the rescued pets of Famous Fido’s.
