NALA's Story...
Nala is beautiful, calm, and quiet. She knows sit, stay, and lay down. She probably knows even more. Her family taught her very good manners, but did not think to look for her in the shelter where she was brought in as a stray on 5/7/2017. Nala now needs a new family to adopt her. She is only about 2 years old and 37 lbs. She is current on her vaccines, spayed and she will be microchipped and heartworm tested when adopted. Nala's ID at the shelter is 595869 and she is in run 853. Her run number could change, so please make a note of her ID number and ask for assistance if you don't find her in run 853.

When calling the shelter about a cat or dog, please use THE ID NUMBER, the names are oftentimes made up by volunteers.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

NALA, a Marietta Boxer dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Boxer for sale in Marietta, or seeking a Boxer dog from a breeder in Marietta.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Marietta already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Marietta breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Boxer breeders who help with Boxer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Marietta paves the way for another one to be saved.
