Here's what the humans have to say about me:
This little girl was born on Valentine's Day; so it was appropriate for her to have a special name. Although pronounced "Amy", the spelling of her name is Amie, the French word for Love.
Amie is one of five kittens who turns three months old on May 14. She is spayed, up to date on all her shots, and ready to go home with you. Hopefully, you have a cat at home under five years of age that little Amie can play with. If not, you are welcome to adopt either one of her siblings, or another kitten in our care.
Amie is a grey/black tabby with subtle tiger striping. She is a delicate little thing, the smallest of her litter and probably the sweetest. Amy curls up in a ball, tucks her tail in, and places herself inside the crook of your arm. The closer to you she can get, the better. Sometimes she places her chin on your wrist and watches what's being done on the computer screen. And then she purrs - and purrs - and purrs. Amie loves to be held, scratched and kissed.
She is presently in a foster home, but soon will be transferred to our adoption center at PetSmart on Elston in Chicago. Fill out an adoption application, get approved and we'll set up a meet n greet for you.
