My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Great news! Gina is back to her old self and ready for adoption. She came to us with a severe abdominal infection. Then she had a bad reaction to the anesthesia during her spay surgery, and had to have a second surgery so she could empty her bladder. She has come such a long way and deserves the perfect forever home!

Gina is an INCREDIBLY affectionate little chihuahua. She will follow around at your heels, ecstatic and grateful for just some loving words. When you sit, her favorite spot is in your lap, but she also likes her dog bed. She sleeps well in her kennel, but she’s potty trained so would also be great at sleeping in the bed. She’s a bit older, at around nine years old, than we initially thought, but she has the energy and enthusiasm of a much younger dog. She gets along well with other dogs (although she gets a little jealous for attention) and cats. She hasn’t been around children, but it’s likely that she would be good with them too. She also enjoys meeting new people.

If you want to give Gina her well-earned forever home, you can apply at g-r-r-r.com/adopt-foster. Any questions can be directed to her foster mom, Kathryn, at 912-656-5900.
