Here's what the humans have to say about me:
PENNY came into the pound as a stray but she was well known in the area where she was found because she had been visiting the location for quite some time and making a lot of friends. PENNY is a mild mannered girl who is around 2-3 years old. She is a Shar Pei mix and comes complete with the curled tail and purple spotted tongue! She's quiet and doesn't have much to say so we like to think of her as a deep thinker. She's good with kids and loves when they pet her and shower her with affection, and she's good with other dogs too. She does chase cats. PENNY is also an escape artist so she needs to be an inside dog where she is taken out on a leash and not allowed to run free or she should have a fenced in yard where she can explore inside boundaries she can't escape from! PENNY is currently at the local prison taking part in the cell dog training program where she is learning basic obedience skills. We would like to leave her there until she is adopted so she doesn't have to come back to the pound. You are more than welcome to make an appointment to meet her. Please call the pound to learn how!
