Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Little Eliot is a puppy mill survivor who was surrendered to us locally and he needs a new home with patience and love. In spite of his tiny size of 11 lbs, Eliot has a ton of energy and would love another young dog to play with. He needs guidance in his play skills because he can be too much for an older or less active dog. In his former home he had to spend a lot of time alone because the older more passive dog did not love him. Eliot was getting stressed so he was pulling out his hair on his legs and behind. Now that he is in a loving safe place he is starting to re-grow his hair and is settling down into a routine.
Eliot hasn’t had exposure to children. He is a good natured dog and now that he is in foster care is getting to properly experience his puppy-hood, he is about 8 months old now. He chews and pees and uses his mouth to play – all puppy habits that a great trainer will help you with. He was used to going on puppy pads so we are working on getting him to see the outside world as his toilet, and to use his happy-go-lucky exuberance in all good ways!
Eliot is a friendly dog and he loves to snuggle. He is ripe for learning and just needs the right family to take him in!

Please note, we do not have a physical facility where our dogs are housed, they are cared for in our network of wonderful foster homes throughout New England. If you find a dog you would like to meet, our expectation is that, once approved, you will travel to meet the dog in the foster setting where they are feeling safe and loved.
