Gwen's Story...
UPDATE--Big thanks and congratulations to Lauree. She and Gwen are lucky to have found each other. They will share a long life together! Gwen is a lovely pastel torti girl. She was born in April 07 and was placed in a home in Nov 07. She was returned to us in Oct 08 because of "lack of bonding" and being afraid of their dog. She may be afraid of some dogs but she certainly has no problem bonding--she is loving, purrs all the time and loves to be held and cuddled. She is okay with other cats but she is not a big player with others or toys. I think when she grew up, her first people decided they wanted a kitten again. The day they returned her, they also brought a new kitten in to be seen by the vet. Gwen deserves better than that. Can't you give this lovely girl a new "forever" home??

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Gwen, a Muncie Domestic Mediumhair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Mediumhair for sale in Muncie, or seeking a Domestic Mediumhair cat from a breeder in Muncie.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Muncie already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Muncie breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Mediumhair breeders who help with Domestic Mediumhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Muncie paves the way for another one to be saved.
