Miles's Story...
Miles is a sweet young dog who loves being doted on. He loves to follow his people around. Miles is playful but submissive towards other dogs and would make a wonderful companion to a playful dog, or as an only dog with lots of personal attention! Miles has not had a lot of worldly experience in life so he takes some time to learn about new things. He was cautious when first introduced to things like stairs, a dog door, and even TV! Now he knows they're part of daily life though and nothing to be worried about! Miles is very polite and does not jump or steal off the counter, but he is still learning basic obedience commands.

Miles is smart and would make a great companion for an active family.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Miles, a Alamogordo Australian Kelpie/Cattle Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Australian Kelpie/Cattle Dog for sale in Alamogordo, or seeking a Australian Kelpie/Cattle Dog dog from a breeder in Alamogordo.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Alamogordo already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Alamogordo breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Australian Kelpie/Cattle Dog breeders who help with Australian Kelpie/Cattle Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Alamogordo paves the way for another one to be saved.
