Meet Felipe! How can you not fall in love with this little puff ball? Felipe is a long haired chihuahua who is approximately 10 years old and weighs a mere 3.6 lbs. He is just the nicest little guy- not a mean bone in his body. Felipe only has half of his bottom jaw. Our vet believes the jaw likely became weak as a result of rotten teeth and ended up breaking off. Felipe also has elevated kidney values, which indicates the very beginning stages of kidney failure. We are starting him on supplement and changing his diet to help slow the progression of the disease. We are looking for a home that will commit to providing him not only love, but the bet vet care and diet to keep him happy and healthy for as long as possible. Trust us- once you meet him you will want to climb mountains for him! Felipe's adoption fee of $250 helps cover the cost of his medical care.
