Here's what the humans have to say about me:
A fenced backyard is a must, this cocker boy will be a wonderful companion for you to love. He will do best with children 6 and older.
My name is Bailey. I am a smaller red cocker spaniel boy about 2 years old. I was constantly seen running around loose with another dog in the neighborhood where we lived. Our owner had been warned several times by animal control to keep us confined to the property. One day while we were out, my doggie friend bit a child, so both of us got taken to a NC shelter. The other dog was put in quarantine . The owner was contacted to claim me but didn't want to pay the fees to get me out. She surrendered both us over to the shelter. The staff saw that I was a really nice cocker boy and asked for rescue help to get me a good home.
I am heartworm negative and I am now neutered. I am a friendly, easy going guy who gets along well with people, dogs and I can be with children 6 and older. I will be a wonderful companion for someone to adopt and love. It would be a dream come true for me to find a home where I can be a favorite indoor doggie, spend quality time with you and be your sweet baby boy. I would love to share a great life with you and have you spoil me for the wonderful guy that I am. A fenced backyard is a must so that I will have a safe place to romp and play and then come back inside to be with you.
