Bosley's Story...

Meet Bosley! Bosley is an attention grabber (all of the attention, please!), and loves his people! He gets along well with other dogs, but doesn’t seem to be very interested in playing and sometimes seems threatened by dogs larger than him. Bosley chooses when to sit for you, although he does know the command, but he’s more than willing to come when called (he loves people!) Bosley would like a kennel in his new home because he thinks of this as a safe place and an area that is truly his. We recommend that when the storms roll in, Bosley has access to his kennel so he isn’t so scared. We’re getting to learn more and more about this sweet guy everyday, and we’re excited for him to find the home that is truly his! Apply to meet him today!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bosley, a Cheyenne Australian Shepherd dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Australian Shepherd for sale in Cheyenne, or seeking a Australian Shepherd dog from a breeder in Cheyenne.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Cheyenne already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Cheyenne breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Australian Shepherd breeders who help with Australian Shepherd rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Cheyenne paves the way for another one to be saved.
