Tybie's Story...
Tybie has been waiting for so long now for a wonderful home of her own. This beautiful girl came to us way back in the summer of 2010 when she was found in a box with three other kittens on the side of the road. Someone abandoned the little family but luckily, they were found and brought to safety. Since then, Tybie has grown into a beautiful, long haired and lovely young lady that spends her days lounging about and socializing with the other cats in our free roaming area. She sure would love to know what it's like to have a real home of her own though. Tybie is about 7 1/2 years old now and is friendly and sweet, and doesn't ask for much. She gets along fine with other cats and never met anyone she didn't like. Tybie will bring lots of joy and happiness into the lives of the good family that welcomes her home. File#19077 8/9/10

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Tybie, a Forked River Domestic Longhair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Longhair for sale in Forked River, or seeking a Domestic Longhair cat from a breeder in Forked River.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Forked River already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Forked River breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Longhair breeders who help with Domestic Longhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Forked River paves the way for another one to be saved.
