United Hope for Animals (UHA) is a volunteer group and does not have a facility for animals. This pet is part of our Shelter Support Program at the Baldwin Park Shelter. For more information about the pet, the adoption process, or our program please contact the Volunteer Adoption Coordinator listed below.
Because animals are adopted/rescued daily, please also check the United Hope for Animals Facebook page to see if an animal is still available OR call the Baldwin Park Shelter at 626-962-3577. When inquiring about an animal, please reference the animal’s ID number. This will enable the volunteer or Baldwin Park employee to locate the status of the pet. Thank you for supporting rescue.

A5051605 Roco is a magical 4-year-old black-with-white Labrador Retriever and Boxer mix (whom the shelter insists is a Pit Bull, but we disagree) whose owner left him at the Baldwin Park Animal Care Center on April 19 for no known reason. Weighing 55 lbs, Roco is a playful, happy boy who would be an ideal companion to join you on walks, hikes, or other adventures. Roco gets along well with other dogs, has decent leash manners, and seems to be housebroken already. He is kissy and loving, and strikes us as a superb family dog. We just can’t say enough good things about this fantastic boy! Roco is delightful in every way, and will be an awesome indoor companion.
