Campbell's Story...
This sweet little pup was left at an animal control with his buddy. Of course they were not well cared for and were treated for heart worms and have also been started on a monthly preventative. Cambell is a white chi mix. He is an adorable little scruffy boy who is approx 3 yrs old and 5.4 lbs. He is a very independent little boy and blends right in with everyone. He loves to run around the yard with his buddies and play. He is very well behaved, loves people and gets along well with other dogs. He seems to be quite well house and leash trained. He is going to be a great dogs for someone.

The total adoption donation of $525 and includes the required interstate health certificate and transport , spay/neuter, shots including rabies, bordatella, parvo, lepto, distemper and canine influenza, and micro chip with a lifetime pre paid registration. The total amount is payable to Shaggy Dog Rescue which is a 501c3. Some of our dogs are still in TX in foster care. Our adoption application is online at http://houstonshaggydogrescue.org/application-process/

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Campbell, a Bedminster Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in Bedminster, or seeking a Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Bedminster.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Bedminster already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Bedminster breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Bedminster paves the way for another one to be saved.
