Miss Nala's Story...
**I am being fostered in Tennessee and will be transported by Pooches on the Move upon adoption!**
Miss Nala is an 11 year old Dachshund. Her owner had to surrender her when she had to move to assisted living. She came to the rescue with bladder stones that had to be surgically removed. She has healed from her surgery and will need to be on a special food to keep her from getting anymore stones. Miss Nala is very active and does not act her age at all. She is currently in a home with other dogs and a child. She loves everyone. She is potty trained and leash trained.
She is spayed and UTD on all vaccinations. She is microchipped and heart worm negative. She is on a heartworm and flea preventative.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Miss Nala, a Cincinatti Dachshund dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Dachshund for sale in Cincinatti, or seeking a Dachshund dog from a breeder in Cincinatti.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Cincinatti already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Cincinatti breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Dachshund breeders who help with Dachshund rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Cincinatti paves the way for another one to be saved.
