Hello!! My name is Tele, I am a 4 year old tricolor beagle boy from the Prescott area. Both Strat and I were turned in by our former owners to the Payson animal shelter. They contacted Arizona Beagle Rescue and we were brought down to the Phoenix area in hopes of find forever new homes!!
They really don't know that much about us, but I can tell you, that I'm one really great beagle! You are just going to love me!! So, don't forget to write my name on your adoption application!!!
Here is an update from my foster mom!!! "He is great with kids, all people really. Unknown about cats, but I would suspect he would chase them. He is fine with other dogs, but mostly is happy to ignore them. He loves his people! He knows "sit", walks well on a leash, and is fully potty trained. He also now knows how to use the doggie door. He goes in a kennel if needed, without much fuss. Sleeps in a doggie bed at night, unless he thinks he can sneak into my bed, which is what he prefers! He can be food protective if other dogs approach him, so he eats alone. Not food aggressive with people, however. Also, he is not great with things like a nail trim or an ear cleaning. But, we are working on this little by little. He doesn't bite, just throws a temper tantrum! This is a work in progress, as we are dealing with an ear infection right now.
Tele (or "Flash", as he is affectionately known in our home) is a true couch potato. When the food dish comes out, he runs and jumps, but otherwise he is a mellow guy and easy to have around.
Jeepers!! I am one great boy, aren't I?? Please take me home with you!!
